16 h boarding the bus, departure for the excursion Varlaamo - Khutynsky monastery (1.5 hours)

Day 2 October 3

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

10 h 00  Meeting  with a guide. Walking tour to theChurch of the Transfiguration of the Savior, a world-famous masterpiece of classical architecture of the XIV century, a UNESCO cultural heritage site . World-wide fame for the Temple was brought by the murals of the famous Byzantine artist Theophanes the Greek, which are partially preserved in the dome and the Trinity Limit, these are the only surviving frescoes of the Byzantine master in Russia  (the church was painted in 1378)

Walking tour of the Kremlin complex with a visit to St. Sophia Cathedral and a visit to Yaroslav's Court (3-3.5 hours)

14h lunch at the restaurant “Ile de France”

15h transfer to the Porcelain Museum, visiting the museum and master class on porcelain painting (1.5 hour)

The Porcelain Museum Workshop is filled with modern multimedia marvels and author's installations. The interior is made in the form of a forge and makes it possible to be transported into the atmosphere of a porcelain factory - burnt brick, a feeling of heat and fire, sparkling porcelain products nearby. And also, this is a unique opportunity to create a wonderful souvenir-decorative porcelain dish with your own hands.

Day 3 04 October

​ 10:00 Meeting with the guide and boarding the minibus at the hotel. Departure for a sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior on Ilyina Street *, St. George's Monastery,

​ Museum of Wooden Architecture Vitoslavlitsa

During the bus tour, guests will admire the perfection of the forms of the Church of the Transfiguration on Ilyina (1374), see the Cathedral of the Sign (1682-1688) and travel along the Nerevsky end of Veliky Novgorod: they will see the Church of Peter and Paul in Kozhevniki (1406) , the ensemble of the former Zverin Monastery. 

The Vitoslavlitsy Museum is located in the southern suburbs of Novgorod in a unique historical and landscape environment. The guests will visit a kind of village - an open-air museum, in which the life of the 18-19th centuries is recreated. Costumed heroes greet guests, talk about the decoration of houses, life and traditions of peasant life. Nearby, at the source of the Volkhov River, in a picturesque area, there is the active St. Yuriev Monastery - a unique ancient holy monastery in the Novgorod region.
